Transcript for "Beyond Capture: The Power of Video for Engaged Learning": Good morning, everyone. Welcome to our webinar. Well, good morning. If you're here in North America, good afternoon, good evening. If you're joining us from around the world, we're thrilled to have you for our webinar titled Beyond Capture, the Power Video for Engaged Learning. My name is Jason Citek, and I'm a customer learning expert here at Echo360, and we're thrilled to have you here today. Before we, dive in, anyone who's joined us, we'd we'd love to have you introduce yourselves in the chat. And along those lines, as we, like, keep moving through it, feel free to ask questions, engage throughout our conversation and presentation today. It's always a lot more fun when we've got some interaction and and some questions going back and forth, And we will also save some time towards the end of our conversation to make sure that we can circle back on anything that we might not have been able to, get to live as we're going on. But we got some great resources from the Echo360 side who will also be, chiming in. And I I see those coming in, and, looks like we got multiple time zones represented already, so that's fantastic. We've got a wonderful session lined up today. We'll be exploring how video is transforming the learning experience in higher education. Video, as we all know, no longer just for recording. It's a critical part of the learning experience. It becomes sort of like a paramount or almost, like, mission critical tool of every institution now. And so as higher education involves, the institutions need technology that not only works reliably but also adapts to support innovation, and learning. So, joining me today is an instructional leader at Augusta University. I I failed to remember to put on my master's hat for today, but the institutions made a, Echo360 Video and an Echo360 cornerstone of their academic strategy to engage with students and help drive a lot of their outcomes. So we'll get a first look as well at some new and innovative, AI enabled features like Ask Echo360 within Echo360 Video, which automatically transforms video content into some more interactive study tools, saving faculty time and helping students engage and learn more effectively. Plus, we also wanna look at Echo360 GoReact, now a part of the Echo360 family, who's, helping to expand our learning solutions to help campus keep pace with all of those, evolving needs. So I'm excited to introduce our speaker, Doug, who will now, introduce himself, and, and then we'll start right into our content. Hi. Thank you, Jason, and very much appreciate the opportunity to be here today and and share our experience with with the Echo360 environment. I'm Doug Blackburn. We currently have two titles here at Augusta University. One is assistant vice president for instruction services where I lead our center for instructional innovation, responsible for academic technology portfolio, support services, teaching and learning, as as well as innovative practices. I also have a an interim appointment as the leader for AU online, which is a program management organization that is managing a variety of different programs with high quality, fully asynchronous managed offerings all the way from marketing to enrollment through all the way through, commencement. I, I know that I think there's a little bit of a trend of of folks starting in higher ed and moving to industry. I did it the exact opposite way. Worked worked in industry for many years and at age 40 decided that I didn't I didn't love what I did. And I found myself in a position here, at Augusta University supporting the Medical College of Georgia, and their IT unit. I I'll I'll give a a brief history in a moment as in terms of Augusta University and how we came to be, but, I've I've started relatively small in in the MCG space, rapidly progressed into a director level at the university position, eventually associate CIO, chief academic technology officer. Over time, my work kind of coalesced around the academic technology portfolio, at which point I found myself inside of academic affairs, which was a brand new world. In terms of of of as far as education goes, I did my undergraduate in IT, from Georgia Southern University, my master's in information security management from the school of computer and cyber sciences here at Augusta University, and I am currently pursuing a a doctoral, education of doc doctorate of education in higher ed administration from West Georgia University. Brief brief history of Augusta University. We're part of the university system of Georgia. We are 26 institutions, including others such as University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia State. We are the health sciences representative for the state, so we are the state's only public medical college. We house the state's only dental college. We have a variety of other health science universities or colleges within the university. We were the result of of a combination between two different programs, so we also have traditional, liberal arts programming. We have 11 different colleges distributed across the university. As the health science representative for the state, one of the things one of our missions is to support where there are gaps in coverage and services for doctors throughout the state. So we have multiple remote campuses throughout the state. As we as we talk more about our use case, that'll that'll be something that I I don't wanna really demonstrate is how, the echo platforms have allowed us to be present in a variety of places where we may or may not have physical presences. We have two, four year, medical campuses now in addition to our primary campus in Augusta, and then we have clerkship sites throughout the state where our students do the latter portion of the undergraduate medical education embedded inside of, hospitals and doctors' offices. Is that it? I can keep walking, but I love a microphone and a camera. So I I love it. Augusta's been a really great partner with us for a long time, actually kinda dating back to those MCG days. Tell us about Augusta initially, like, selecting, like, Echo360 video. What was Augusta looking for? Why did you choose us? Yeah. So our our primary initial use was inside of medicine. There was a need, in large part because of the fact that we had students distributed across the state. So we needed a mechanism that would allow us both to record lectures and then also to have the the opportunity to stream whenever it was appropriate when when necessary. So our initial use and utilization was specifically inside of medicine, that that predated me so I don't get to take credit for for discovering and embedding Echo360 into our environment, but what quickly became evident to me so so accreditation for medical schools is not a small task. It is a significant task, and and a lot of it has to do with whether or not students feel that they have the tools and the resources and support that they need to be successful. So as I entered, into the Augusta University environment supporting Medical College of Georgia, it just so happened that we were going through our LCME accreditation. And the recorded lectures was one of the things that students oft quoted as being one of the things that they really benefited from. They still attend class, but the opportunity to go back and rewatch a portion of it or or when they're later studying for, their board exams, They're able to go back to these lectures and essentially refresh, build skills, committed more to memory than they can just simply in class and and taking notes. So a question I asked myself really early on is, why in the world aren't we doing this at a larger scale? Yeah. Is there not an opportunity for our students in premed classes? So but it it extends far beyond that as well. So science and college of science and math, there's obvious opportunities for us to be able to provide additional resources to students that might help us address DFW rates that we wanted to approve. K. Looking across the the other portions of the university, obviously, the dental school was a similar need, as was the medical school. So I was able to to as I asked myself that question, work with leadership at the university to demonstrate hours recorded views, which Echo360 has always provided us very good information and statistics to be able to support, our our continued use and improved use of the platform, and worked with our provost at the time to establish a audio visual refresh that was going to eventually touch all 112 centrally scheduled classrooms on our primary campus. And what we did is we incorporated Echo360 into that standard. It was, in in the early stages. It was something that there was there were certain use cases, within within the programs that immediately ramped, but over time and through grassroots and and and people learning of of the capabilities of the software, it it started to taper up significantly. You might imagine in 2019 and 2020, there was this thing, that caused it to to skyrocket in in use and utilization. But what we've seen is we've we've maintained that use and utilization. Yeah. Our our instructors, our program directors, our deans are seeing the benefits of this. Anecdotally, we've had ten consecutive years of enrollment growth. A a good portion of that helped through improved retention. So we've we've seen how this can make a difference, for those students who might otherwise be struggling, in in their curriculum. That's outstanding. I I love just thinking about how we we've scaled, and I've been really privileged to be a part of that and see how it's grown particularly with, you know, Augusta University online, coming together and and launching and now seeing where you guys are going even from, from that initial starting point even just a couple years ago when I entered into the relationship and and seeing how far we've come since then has been tremendously exciting. You mentioned starting with, you know, the lecture capture and integrating that into kind of, like, the mission critical nature of of all these rooms to make sure that everything's captured. Beyond lecture capture, Echo360 Video offers, you know, a pretty broad suite of tools, you know, like universal capture software or browser capture. How has Augusta's use of Echo360 video evolved over time to better support learning rather than just, some of that media capture? Certainly. Yeah. In the early stages, it was predominantly lecture capture inside of classrooms. But as as we started to see that use and utilization increase, and then as Augusta University, started with a very intentional and deliberate building of of quality online programming, the use of browser captures has has increased significantly. In some of our undergraduate programs, the flipped classroom model supports us very well. They have essentially the lecture that's going to be consumed inside of D2L, they can do this from the comfort of their office, They can do this from from wherever they find themselves with with reliable Internet access and and a device with with cloud with the local capture tool on there or even the web capture option. Those route directly into the course. So there's there's not a lot of of effort otherwise, because of the LTI and and how these are linked. They're not having to go and record a video on their computer and then upload it to YouTube and then go create a module or a page inside of d two l. These are inherently available as as they're produced. In in addition excuse me. In addition to what I mentioned, so so certainly during the pandemic, we we saw a significant ramped up use in utilization. We all all of our program across everything had to shift online. More recently, we we had another situation here in Augusta that that this allowed us continuity that otherwise would not have been available, and that was hurricane Helene. Yeah. In in addition to to North North Carolina, Asheville, anyone who is on the coast, Augusta got hit very hard. A significant portion of of our campus was was without power, without reliable network Internet access. Many portions of the city didn't have power for for ten or fourteen days beyond beyond hurricane. But the ability for instructors and and when instructors didn't have resources, this was ever all everyone together were were veterans. One, deans, chairs, whomever had Internet access was able to step in, and and they had two options available to them because of of prior use. One was the ability to go back through our catalog and our inventory of prior lectures, where we we could bring those back forward or the ability to create new content, and and that allowed us with relatively minimal disruption. Despite the fact many of us are still dealing with with hurricane after effects a full year later, it allowed us to to not really skip a beat, and that's especially critical for these health science programs. They their their curriculum is timed down to the minute, so any disruption to that can can cause significant delays and and is very, very difficult difficult to overcome. So the ability to go back, pull those, keep that information flowing, keep students informed, and stay on progress was was tremendous. Yeah. I I had kinda queued up a question for you about, like and and you did such a great job at reanswering it, really. It's like, what what are the significant benefits, like, Augusta University has gained by using Echo360 video? And and if I'm hearing you correctly, all things that I I think you would look for in in a capture source or a capture program is, you know, again, the continuity. My personal experience, you know, has shown, especially those kind of cohort based programs, just really thrive when even though there's an unforeseen interruption. I'm in the South as well, so if there's ice sticking to anything, you know, we're not going to school that day. The only thing that's gonna be open is Waffle House. But you can still get the the lessons out to your nursing, students, to your respiratory therapy students, to, anyone where there's there's something that it's not just missing a class. If we miss a class, it takes us way off of track from where we need to be towards towards the end of semester and eventually the end of the program as well. Anything else kinda jump to mind beyond those, but I I have to second pretty much everything you said. Okay. So and I'll talk specifically about some of the use cases within the online environments. But the opportunity to not just have the, the the capture of of whether it be, like, classroom capture and or a capture from from a browser, but the ability to insert polling and and steps. So so separating a fifty minute lecture into segments, having a quick, low stakes or no stakes knowledge check built into that, that the student encounters before they go on the next step. So it it provides for improved use and utilization of this video, element that also helps us with students to build confidence, and then for us as instructors to be able to gauge whether or not we're we're being successful in achieving the learning objectives. Awesome. One of the one of the really exciting things and and especially bringing it into the Echo360 family has has been the addition of GoReact. And and I know that there's always been some usage, there at Augusta University in with regards to video assessment and kind of, like, that mastery. And that's where I think the two really complement each other very well. Compliment probably isn't the right word. It's probably supplement, is that you've got, multiple dipping sauces to choose from depending on, your entree that you've chosen as you've got a world class reliable, video capture solution for your your instruction or even student created video, and your interactive media. But then over on the GoReact side, having the ability to submit a video and get that, like, real time AI plus instructor and assessor based feedback, with that. You mentioned it, a little bit earlier, just, how GoReact is kind of worked into the Augusta family. We're gonna take, you know, a a quick little dive into into showing exactly what that looks like, but wanted to offer you a chance anything else that you'd like to kinda, like, mention that you found helpful or, that you're excited about with this partnership between Echo360 and now GoReact. I I'll just say on the front side, it it is kind of a a repeat of of what I mentioned previously that it started in a unit within within Augusta University, and then we found where there was great opportunity across across the board. So so presently a lot of our use and utilization is inside of our College of Education and Human Development. We have a master's of arts and teaching that uses it significantly, and then in our undergraduate courses where there there's field field supervision that's necessary, it's facilitated the ability to submit those videos and then to receive the feedback directly. So I I think there's great opportunity. We're already benefiting from it, but it's, as this this partnership or or or consolidation comes to be, I think that there's gonna be opportunities for us to look across other programs, especially given our online space, to to better leverage, and and increase our utilization of GoReact. Awesome. And for those of you who are, joining the webinar, if you've got your your screens up as well, I'm I'm now sharing, directly looking at what GoReact looks like. If you if you've never seen it before, we've got a number of, video customers that I've seen, over in the chat. Thank you guys for introducing yourselves, and wanted to make sure that you guys were aware of just how easy it is to really look at GoReact and and see how it can work from you. So, get.goreact.com is, the the web portal for there. And as we come in, we'll see that there's a personalized demo experience available. What I really wanna draw your attention to as well is that this isn't just, you know, a look at GoReact with some with some web pages or, anything like that. But as we click on it, let's say I want to practice a world language right here, specifically in, like, a foreign language. When we come in, we click on that demonstration right there. This brings us into GoReact itself. This is, an actual look at the product, and it's completely clickable, interactive for you guys to see exactly how this is working. So you can see all of the comments, as this, media is going through. We can see what was provided by the Echo360 AI assistant. We've got the instructor comments, as they go through here, and you even have the option to to add your own comments if you wanted to do some more peer reviewed, video as well. Along with that, a huge strength of Echo360 is the ability to upload that rubric so that we can really tailor exactly what the assessment and the evaluation, is bringing back for you. And it makes it super easy for the learner ultimately to know that they're hitting the marks and standards that they need to whenever they're submitting any of this video. It's you know, we were all students once, and I'm sure even if we thought we knew the material, the hardest assignments we ever did were the ones that weren't really explained to us very well. And so you kinda had to fly blind or without radar, whichever analogy you wanna use. So a chance to have a rubric in there gives everyone, the knowledge that as long as I'm hitting these marks, I know that I'm moving, towards the eventual goal. Obviously, lots of, instructions within here. A a key facet of anything Echo360 does is going to be accessibility. And so every Echo360 video, like within Echo360 video, has the ability to be transcribed that is speaker specific so you can tell exactly who's talking. That transcript is searchable. As you know, within Echo360 video, it's been a long time feature to be able to go in and and edit that and even convert it over to closed captions, as well. So as we, you know, continue to to look and and expand the partnership and, the learning transformation platform, which we call the ecosystem, GoReact is now one of those mission critical features for us that we're so excited to see, grow right from with that. And like Echo360 video, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the robust analytics that that come with it. So, we generate a a considerable amount. For those of you who have never recorded yourself on video, which I realized, considering it's an Echo360 video webinar, most of us probably have at some point. But you'll quickly discover, especially if you're speaking extemporaneously, how many times you say, all those things. And so even internally at Echo360 video, we love taking our presentations, anything that we're preparing, and throw it into GoReact so we can get that immediate feedback, knowing that when we go in and we actually deliver on the presentation or what we're looking to do, that we've got the confidence that's been evaluated, and we're putting our best foot forward as well. And for students, you know, what better, you know, declaration of confidence can they have to know that they've already nailed it before they even go in, and actually present that over? So, do see some some great questions, you know, coming into the chat that that will circle back. I know, Doug, you had something, that you wanted to kinda come back onto as well. I wanted to open that back up for you. Yeah. So with with our use of of GoReact, as I mentioned, it kinda started with with an isolated use case, and then it did expand. Our utilization has increased pretty significantly over over over a relatively short period of time in terms of the number of seats. I'd be remiss if I didn't just appreciate Echo's grace in allowing us to grow without disruption to instruction. So as we saw so as as instructors started using it and as as they saw possible benefits and and value in utilizing it in other sections or other courses they delivered, that part of the growth, that growth didn't eventually will result in rightsizing of contract, which is fully understandable. But the the grace of doing that without disrupting instruction, is is greatly appreciated. Yeah. And I one of the things I love and and I worked as a customer of of Echo360 Video prior to joining, and and I've always appreciated that, is, Echo360's ability to come alongside all of our partners is we wanna see you succeed. That's our biggest mark for success as well. If you guys are hitting your objectives, you're seeing those positive outcomes, it gives us the warm and fuzzies that, hopefully, it gives you, as well as as we kinda look into that as well. And so we mentioned earlier, obviously, with a with a large, you know, use of video with GoReact, continuing to expand as well, having two video platforms but within the same ecosystem, in this case, is only gonna help, you know, bring those two closer together, but ultimately expand what you guys are are trying to do in terms of creating engaging video, also providing, a large amount of, student created content for them to be able to demonstrate the mastery, of that concept. We're living in, a pretty amazing world where eighteen months ago, the ability to to get information and feedback, as fast as it was in a search engine is now even faster, thanks to, you know, the two vowels that you probably already said in your head, artificial intelligence and AI. And so we've been, working, you know, in that world as well because, you know, maybe ten years ago, it was smartphones. You know, how are we gonna bring smartphones into the classroom? And we've seen some great expansion of that within, Echo360 poll, and and bringing in the smart devices, you know, throughout the rest of of the ecosystem as well. But, with AI, it's a 100% being used, and we wanna be strategic. We wanna be surgical about how we're deploying that out within the ecosystem as well to make sure that it's providing those, you know, transformative and valuable experiences, for the students and also for administrators and leadership like yourself at these institutions to know that where it is that they're out, not only is it secure, but it's accurate and helpful, to the overall learning, experience. And so as we as we kind of, like, shift that over now into Echo360 video, we've had, some huge leap forwards, with that. And so before I move forward showing Ask Echo within Echo360 video, let me ask you, like, what is the role, of those, like, AI tools? You know, how have they impacted, how students are completing the assignments, or what's been, what's been the approach of Augusta so far? Sure. I I think like much of higher ed, we we are still adapting and figuring that out. We had new updated policy provided, in fact, just this week, that that's gonna inform some of our next steps. What we know is is students are using it. We we also know instructors are using it. So the value and the benefit to leverage tools that are part of existing platforms, is it it can't be understated. From from a risk risk perspective, we'd much rather have those tools be inside of environments that we already, are comfortable in terms of privacy and security of of student data. Yeah. There's no doubt that already, and I think this will continue to evolve at a amazingly rapid pace, that there's gonna be a new tool today that does this exceptionally well and a tool that does this exceptionally well. We can't do them all there's there's just not an opportunity within higher education where we are subject to FERPA as a health science university we're also subject to HIPAA, so to the degree that we can provide that type of functionality within existing embedded systems, it helps us to to leverage existing risk management. And and over time, no doubt, we'll continue to add our portfolio, but but to try to avoid it just simply being the free for all of I just saw this tool. So we we are working to provide resources, both for students and instructors, training materials, not just on the platforms within within the systems that that we have already in the environment and those that are approved, but also just on the the general concepts of how to utilize it. I I'll be presenting at EDUCAUSE, anyone who's gonna be in Nashville on on how AI our our initial and immediate response was around, how how do we prevent students from cheating? That that has already evolved, based on what we're seeing from from research being conducted everywhere, which is we need to figure out how to leverage this tool to improve student success, to improve retention, to address some of the the concerns that that are imminent with with the enrollment cliff. Further, what obligation does the university have to prepare students for effective, responsible use of the tool, such that they're gonna be ready for an AI infused workforce? I I would I will argue, during that presentation at EDUCAUSE that we have a a an ethical obligation as part of our mission to provide students with the skills that they need to transition quickly into workforce to make sure that they know how to utilize generative AI tools effectively and responsibly. So having having it built into Echo360 or having it built into the LMS, each one has a little bit of separate nuance, but it allows us to provide consistency from course to course. They're not jumping from from one tool to the other and ultimately prepares our students better, for for where and how this is going to become part of, even more than it is now, part of our everyday lives. Awesome. Yeah. I think we're completely aligned on that as well is folks are using it. We need to make sure that as they're moving into the workforce, like you said, that they're able to to blend in without having as much of, and anytime you join, you know, a new career, a new position, even if you've already done that prior, there's always gonna be kind of, like, those gaps in learning to bring you up to speed. But the ability to hit the ground running already aware of what tools are out there and and being able to work smarter and harder as a result of that is gonna, you know, produce, you know, very positive outcomes well beyond our institutions as well that that we're all looking for. So, I wanted to jump in and and take a look at exactly what that looks like from an Echo360 standpoint. We we get lots of questions, you know, AI and and video generation and and everything like that. But with Ask Echo360, we've been very, surgical. We've been very strategic about deploying that out because it's, such a huge tool for for all of those learners. So with LTI one dot three and folders enabled within Echo360, your learners can view all of the Ask Echo features that we're about to review right here. And for you existing Echo360 users, you can go into your institution settings and toggle that on in kind of our feature spotlight area as well. If you have, you know, any questions about that, please reach out to your, your customer success manager. And very likely, I will be jumping on a call with you in in the near future to to help talk about that or answer any questions that you might have. But I've got my content right here. I'm gonna click on this ad hoc capture, and it's gonna bring me into our newly redesigned media details page, which I'm sure, it could be new from some of you. For some of you, if you were gone, throughout the summer, we did update this. Made it a lot more intuitive, emphasizing of the details as well as the media, which you can see here. But with Echo360, turned on over in this details area, we can see two new options, right from here. So Echo360 automatically generates a structured, searchable, engaging materials and metadata, for your content. As we scroll on through, Saphir are now available, widely and generally, across the Echo360 platform, as well as the associated metadata, like a title, a description, a summary, FAQs, study cards, and most recently, just came out, is, some Echo360 generated quizzes, within that as well. Where the rubber really hits the road on a lot of this is, for the lecture capture heavy schools where you guys have a considerable amount of, you know, scheduled captures. As you know, all those captures may have the same title throughout the semester. So if a student wants to go back, like Doug mentioned earlier, and say, I need to go back and and review this lecture. I know it's in this class, but now which day was that? And they have to, you know, use some some man hours to go back and and find that if they're, if they're not completely remembering of of where that is. With the Echo360, very simple. We're gonna go ahead and click generate all. And as we see, Echo360 is immediately gonna begin generating the content. And once that's complete, we'll see all of that information automatically apply to that video, and for a scheduled capture, even if it's just called, say, English one zero one, section one, using the transcript that's a part of that echo video capture, Ask Echo will generate the title, the description, and all of those metadata tags along with it as well. So we can see immediately upon that being completion, now we've got a really workable functional title, understanding the pressure gradient force and its impact on wind speed for this particular video. I can actually see with these little hash marks indicating right here, I can also see that there's already been some chapters applied in there, as that goes out. Here over on the right, we see the description plus all of the tags that were automatically applied. But where this increases even further is to know that you have complete control over all of this information as well. So as we come into this ask Echo360 generated, content area, this is where you've got the ability to go in. You can edit, massage, expand, or narrow any of the information that we've generated for you. So while it is generative, you maintain complete control over it. And I can't say it enough. We are looking at the transcript for this video, leveraging, our partners, to do that. And as our transcription has continued to increase in accuracy, the Echo360 content is getting even more valuable, as as we move through it as well. So you can always edit that up. You can change it. You can see what your main points are. Here are the takeaways. And as we scroll down, here we'll see all of the FAQs, which which may have been, added based in there. You can collapse them all, and you can see all of those questions as well. Here's all the study cards, which gets generated from the viewer side when they enter, you know, through a folder and and see that. They'll see the engagement pane, and there's a new tab for Echo360 right within there. And the study cards, I think, are my favorite new addition because I know how valuable they are for learning. I have young children at home. We do a lot of flashcards, to help them to help them learn. And so just the ability to, you know, take a look at something, turn it over to double check to make sure that you understand that, It's just another way of impressing the information that's in the video and putting it in a really engaging and interactive format, to help, retain that information and master that knowledge within Echo360. The big ones that as we as we keep scrolling down as well are the ask Echo360 quizzes, which we just rolled out. We've got about 10 multiple choice questions here. As you'll notice, you can go in. You can change the answers. You can delete an answer. So if you would rather have it be, you know, a two question or a true or false, you can kind of change those up, as well. All of this looking off of the transcript in the video so you can rest secure that the information remains accurate to what you spoke in class, but also that your information may is secure because we are not exposing anything within that capture outside of the Echo360 environment. It's all staying in house and not feeding, anything, larger than that, getting you a huge impact, to provide to your students knowing that they may have already been doing this from the transcript already, and this closes a a a nice security vulnerability as well. Because now you can refer your students to say, we've already got this natively within the product. They've developed it for exactly the reasons that you're trying to do it externally. Why not use that for for your benefit and create that? And so it also gives you some great questions. Think of it if you wanted to take this video and make it a piece of interactive media. Now you've got 10 multiple choice questions that we just generated for you, and you don't have to think about which questions you wanna put in there. All you need to do is just grab those questions, and now type them in right at the appropriate time stamp, that you would like to. So, it's gonna have a huge impact. We've gotten just enormously positive feedback, from Echo360 as as we debuted it, really in, May and EMEA and then shortly thereafter in North America and now globally across all of our regions as well. And so, Doug mentioned EDUCAUSE as well. We're gonna be at EDUCAUSE. We would love to, you know, meet, kick hands, show you what this can do. For any existing customers, we'd love to have some more workshops and, provide some more development along with your teams to do, you know, train the trainer or faculty workshops. However, we can do to get this into your learner's hands so that they can start experiencing all the benefits that come with Echo360, within Echo360 Video, as well. So with that, I also wanted to open up the floor, take a look, and and see if there's any questions that we've got in here as well. Doug, also wanted to give you a chance to to add in anything, in these remaining moments that you're like, I have to get this off my chest to feel like I was successful here today. No. So as I mentioned, we have new policy, and and because of the fact that we do have multiple different regulatory requirements upon us as as both higher education and academic health, our our process for integrating and enabling AI tools still has some rigor, but I just prioritized Echo360, so the value of that in in that brief demo, is is significant. I mentioned previously the ability to do, those built in knowledge checks, whatever we can do to allow our students to build confidence, that that, you know, I think I know the material, but I won't really know until I take my midterm. These these incremental knowledge checks allows them to feel more and more comfortable and confident with the curriculum, and then, ultimately, it's going to lead to their success. So I'm I'm I'm very, very excited about the, the quiz function there. Overall, I mean, the one other thing that I didn't mention that that's certainly relevant in here in the AU space is is we were previously a a TurningPoint, school and and then through through similar, merger acquisition, turn TurningPoint has has eventually become Turning Solutions and more recently, Echo360, which has also established a very strong foothold here at Augusta University. Yes. And and it's really the the same thing that we're talking about in terms of of the opportunity to to to do a knowledge check inside of a live active face to face classroom. So students do it from their mobile device. They don't have to buy additional gadgets or or clickers or anything else. It's available, for for laptops from from mobile devices with or without app or or web based. That has seen significant growth, in in building. Once again, kinda started inside of the medicine space, but as we learned more about how engaging this is and how much more active students are in in their own instruction, that's one that we're we're very, very excited to continue to leverage and and benefit from. Awesome. Yeah. Thank you so much for for jumping that in there. Did wanna, you know, tie off and and answer some remaining questions that we've got in the chat. We've had, some pretty engaged members in there, and and we've been filling in, some of those answers live as we can. But I know as we kind of move towards sort of the final minutes, of our scheduled time today that there's still some out there. I see from Simon, you know, asking some questions about taking, the the Ask Echo360 content and being able to, like, automatically add it in, potentially, with similar to how we've taken you know, generated the quiz questions. You know, can those be moved, you know, automatically into the video as part of, like, an interactive media, which is a fantastic feature request, that I'm gonna be, you know, raising on that because our goal is to make it as easy as possible. I'm a former Echo360 video admin in a in a previous life on a campus. My philosophy was to try to support faculty by giving them solutions that either did not create additional work or actually alleviated work they were already doing. And that's really the goals that we've got with with Echo360 and, from the student side as well is, giving them the distress and, you know, removing the tension out of their shoulders that they don't have to write down everything verbatim that the instructor said, because they know they can go back and they can rereview that content. They can look at the transcript and search it and now interact with Echo360 to be able to, provide that as well. We mentioned, Simon, yet another great question about the underlying AI tool. We've we've continued to leverage our relationship with with AWS, to help grow that and and to continue that accuracy as well. We're going off of the transcript. We're not feeding, you know, a a larger, large language model on that. That's a really tough couple of words to kinda sandwich in there. So security is paramount to us as it is to, y'all as well from a a data governance and just, like, information security standpoint. So anything we can do, to help answer those questions, you know, please raise them, even further with your customer success manager or or sales representative you've been working with, and and we're happy to have some additional conversations to get you all the answers that you need. But with that, in closing, I wanted to thank everybody, for joining us today, especially from, Echo360 and all of our partner institutions as well. Doug and I have, really come to work considerably over the last couple years, and, he's just one of my favorite people to work with. So thank you, Doug. On the record, this is me saying thank you for your partnership, but also being willing to jump on and talk about all of this because I knew as we continue to talk more about it, we just got an opportunity to really see this thing grow even further. I'll probably be in your session at EDUCAUSE. It's a it's a pretty fair bet from there. So you'll have at least one cheerleader. But, again, I'm Jason Citek, a customer learning expert with Echo360 video here at Echo360. We look forward, to joining you again for some more webinars. We're gonna be doing these pretty regularly. And if there's anything else that we can help you with, please reach out. Thank you all. Thank you.
